Cys’Varine was found by a blacksmither when he was digging in a cave for materials for his crafting. He couldn’t beleave what he saw, a drow child left alone in a basket dying in a cave.
He knew he had little time to save the young drow so he ran as fast as he could with his pickaxe on his back and the drow (who’s in the basket) in his arms back towards his house where his wife making dinner. When he opened the door in a rush his wife ran towards the door, she asked: “What’s going on?” The smith said: “This little one needs help and fast.” He gave the basket to his wife, she looked in the basket and she schocked at bit. “It’s a drow!” she said, “I know” said her husband “I found her all alone in a cave down the road, but I couldn’t let her die, she’s a living being as well just as we are.” His wife looked at the wound that the baby had and said: “It’s a wonder that you still live.” The lady looked after the young drow. The man looked in the basket and he saw a lettler, he opend the letter and saw some strange handwriting, the only thing he could read was the mane: “ Cys’Varine ”.

A few days later the man and his wife are talking about the drow child, what they should do with Cys’Varine. They couldn’t send her back to the underdark that would be a sure death for her so they dicided to keep Cys’Varine and to take care of her like she was their own child.

When Cys’Varine grew older she became more aware of who and what she was, because she was different compared to the others in the village, not that the poeple weren’t nice to her, she was treated like everyone else, but some people didn’t like her appearance, but she ignored that. One day her father came with the news that she could go to a mage- / priestschool, or to a warriorschool. She didn’t know to which kind of school she wanted to go.

Cys’Varine was thinking of what she wanted to become when she’s all grown up. She came to the conclusion that she wanted to help the good people of the realm. And this is what she does.
