Players will no longer need to visit a trainer in order to level up. You will however have to pay gold just like before. You also must have three levels in a class before taking a new class, and you must have 3 levels in your new class before putting levels back in an old class.
I will warn you now that many of the PrC spells and feats seem broken since 1.65. I will try to fix these as I can, but I am not going to promise that x feat will be fixed by y date. From what I can tell, feats that were already part of NWN work, but feats from the haks don't, so, for example, the Ninja Spy would get his/her Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat at level 1 and it will work fine, but the Mask of a Thousand Faces feat currently does not work correctly.
Monks and Paladins do have multiclass restrictions as stated before in the FAQ. Since the FAQ section has gone missing since the forum move, I'll repost them here:
Monks may only multiclass with Assassin, Harper Scout, Hospitaler, Ninja Spy, Red Avenger, Shadowdancer
Paladins may only multiclass with Champion of Torm, Cleric, Dwarven Defender, Harper Scout, Warpriest, Weapon Master
Players wishing to take the Shadowdancer class must also meet a special requirement. The requirement will not be posted in the forums; I encourage you to try and discover it in game.
A more complete list of leveling up rules is now posted on a sign in the Bloodaxe Entrance area.
I didn't remove ALL of the old trainers, mainly because I don't know exactly where each trainer is located. If you see an old trainer, I would highly recommend not talking to him. Just post where you found him and I will remove him in the next release.
Also, I would encourage monsters and nonmonsters to check out the different crafting merchants in the various cities once again |

Yeah...there were a lot of them that didn't work and that caused too much trouble. |

I see. I was under the assumption they worked, and thus plopped em all over the place. People should be a lot happier now, though |
